Abstract

Islamic education is the main foundation in the formation of the character of Muslim individuals who have noble character, faith, and knowledge. This article aims to examine five main factors that affect the effectiveness of Islamic education, namely faith, family, teachers, curriculum, and environment. Through a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this article presents an analysis of the role of each factor in the process of Islamic education. The results of the study show that faith functions as a spiritual foundation, the family as the first educator, the teacher as a moral and intellectual guide, the curriculum as the direction of knowledge development, and the environment as a support for personality formation. The integration of these five factors is very important in creating a generation of Muslims who excel spiritually, intellectually, and socially.
