Etika Publikasi

ILMUNA: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan Islam is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures to prevent any publication malpractice. All parties involved in the publishing process-editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher-must agree to the following ethical guidelines.

  1. Duties of Editors
    • Ensure fair and objective peer review of submitted manuscripts.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and related information.
    • Make editorial decisions based solely on the scholarly merit of the manuscript and its relevance to the journal’s scope.
    • Take appropriate actions if ethical misconduct is suspected or reported.
  2. Duties of Authors
    • Submit original, unpublished work that is not under consideration elsewhere.
    • Properly cite all references and acknowledge the contributions of others.
    • Disclose any conflicts of interest or financial support.
    • Agree to participate in the peer review process and revise the manuscript accordingly.
    • Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and other forms of research misconduct.
  3. Duties of Reviewers
    • Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback on the manuscript.
    • Maintain confidentiality of the review process.
    • Declare any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from the review if necessary.
    • Refrain from using the content of the manuscript for personal advantage.
  4. Publisher’s Responsibilities
    • Uphold editorial independence and integrity.
    • Support the editorial team in handling ethical complaints or disputes.
    • Maintain the long-term availability of published content.

ILMUNA adheres to the ethical principles set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Any form of unethical behavior will not be tolerated, and appropriate actions will be taken when misconduct is identified.
