Plagiarism Policy

ILMUNA: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan Islam is committed to maintaining academic integrity and upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.

All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software before entering the peer review process. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will be immediately rejected.

The journal defines plagiarism as the use of another person’s ideas, words, data, or other intellectual property without proper attribution. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text from other sources without citation
  • Paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without acknowledgment
  • Reusing one’s own previously published work (self-plagiarism) without disclosure

If plagiarism is detected after publication, the editorial board will take appropriate action, which may include retraction of the article and notification to the author’s institution.

Authors are strongly encouraged to ensure that all sources are properly cited and that their work is original and free from academic misconduct.
